Drafting for Commercial Lawyers 

This course is designed to enable lawyers to become more skillful, independent and imaginative legal drafters. It can be tailored for lawyers of different seniorities and with different language abilities. As well as covering topics such as rules of interpretation, document structuring and drafting methods, including the use of plain English, the principal focus is on practical drafting, on which we can offer individual feedback and coaching. Where possible, we draw on the client’s own drafting and style guides (if any) and standard form documents to aid familiarisation with them.
